For 2019 I took on the volunteer role of Women's Coordinator with the Gold Coast Mountain Bike Club with a key focus on the women's mountain bike event bringing my years (ok decades) of event management experience to the table. I'm certain I'm a whirl wind of ideas and vision at times.
I'm excited that last week we released the brand spanking new Divas on the Dirt logo and design for the GCMTB Club Womens Mountain Bike event being held 13 October. Feminine and gritty including the important part of the event, the celebrations, all captured in a logo created just for us.
Thanks to the support of the GCMTB Club committee and the Divas on the Dirt event organising team for continuing to support me in realising the vision for the event and ultimately women's mountain biking here on the Gold Coast.
Divas on the Dirt is being held 13 October at Nerang State Forest. It’s a fun inclusive mountain bike event for all mountain biking women. Check out the event for details and updates on the Gold Coast Mountain Bike Club facebook page.
If you're not in SEQ or Northern NSW we are working on finding an accommodation partner so that women can join us from far and wide so keep it on your radar. It'll be a fun day.
