A video/reel about sustainability makes sense even though it appears to have nothing to do with my business offering. And yet it does.
I personally choose to engage with brands that have the same values and ethics as me. As I do my research and narrow down to choosing a product or service their values and ethics are an important deciding factor for me. I am willing to pay more for values and ethics that align with mine (within reason).
Sustainability is important to me and is therefore part of my personal and business brand. So, it makes sense to share my values and ethics so you can decide if I'm your person to invest in your future evolution with.
Doing it imperfectly is also an important part of my values. Being perfectly imperfect is something that I foster in myself and my clients. It's about the little things, not being a perfectionist.
Whether you're an individual or business sharing your values with people allows them to get to know you, who you are and what you value.
Our values affect the choices we make whether consciously or subconsciously.
How do your values and ethics shape the choices you make?
